foot in Hawaii in January 1778.  (He was later killed on the Big Island.)

'Opaeka'a Falls

Part of the Hikina A Ka La (the Rising Sun), where those sentenced to be executed could earn the right to leave without harm by performing certain rites prescribed by the priest.  (Of course, they had to first get here without being caught!)
