Note:
Tolls on the Indiana portion of the Toll Road are
$1.80 each way -- $1.20 to enter at Hammond and
$0.60 to exit at I-65.
Chicago Skyway/Indiana Toll Road
(I-90) east to the I- 65/Dunes Highway (US
Route 12/20) exit.
Follow the ramp to Dunes Highway
(12/20) and drive east to 1st stop light.
12/20 splits -- stay on Route 12
through 2nd stop light;
At 3rd stop light (South Lake
Street, just past the South Shore train
station on your left), turn left onto South
Lake Street.
Cross tracks and make an immediate
right turn onto Miller Avenue just over the
tracks.
Drive approximately 1 block to St.
Mary of the Lake Catholic Church which will
be on the left side of the road.
Turn into parking lot in front of
church and proceed to the larger lot, the
entry to which is located to the right of
the parish office.
Only the main entrance to the
church will be used on the night of the
concert. It is handicapped accessible.

southern and middle sections of Lake County and
points east and south:
I-65 north to its terminus at US
12-20 in Gary (5th Avenue/Dunes Highway).
Turn right (east) onto Dunes Highway
(US 12/20).
Drive east to 1st stop light.

Return to Indiana Toll Road or
I-65:
Right on Miller Avenue (street in front of
church) to South Lake Street (stop light).
Turn left and drive over the railroad
tracks to the 2nd stop light (Dunes Highway
- Route 12).
Turn right and follow Route 12 to the Toll
Road entrance and proceed accordingly either
to “To Chicago-West" or “To
Ohio-East”.
Stay on US 12 west to its intersection
with I-65 if you desire to drive on that
route for travel to points south.
Free
shuttle bus service from Whiting
Free chartered bus service to and from the
concert will be provided from Whiting, Indiana. Reservationsare required and
must be made by close of business on Tuesday,
October 11, 2011.
Buses will depart from in front of St. John the
Baptist Catholic Church, 1849 Lincoln Avenue (119th
Street and Lincoln Avenue), in Whiting between 6:45
p.m and 7:00 p.m.
