I would like to thank the readers over the past four years of the District 1 Wrestling Web site.  I enjoyed the time I put into developing the format in which you, the readers, became accustom to.  It took a great deal of time commitment on my part to keep this page updated, and with a continual increase in job responsibility (which pays the bills), my ability to commit time to the wrestling web site has diminished substantially.   What little time I do have to commit, is being reserved for watching my son's NCAA wrestling career, my daughter's NCAA Lacrosse career, officiating District 11 Wrestling, hunting and spending time with my wife.

I believe Tom Elling and I have passed the baton on to a very competent individual in Greg Ferrell.  Greg has helped me out immensely in the last year with reporting news and scores from District 1 South.  I would ask each of you to provide Greg with the same help and feedback you've provided to me over the past four years.  I will be in contact with Greg from time to time, so if you have questions for Greg and don't know how to get hold of him, feel free to contact me and I will pass the information on.

Again, thank you to all the fans, wrestlers and coaches who contributed so much to the success of the District 1 Web site.  I would also like to thank Tom Elling for his guidance and insight into developing this site.  Lastly, I would like to thank Steve Koshgerian who was the original editor of the District 1 Web site, who started it all.  Without all of you, the success of this site would not have been possible.

Good luck to all the D-1 past, present and future wrestlers and coaches... and best wishes to all the readers of this web site and their families.
