The computers I’m using:
SGI O2 (R10000 175MHz 4GB internal HD)
E-POWER (Pentium 200MHz 3GB internal HD)
The SGI O2 is a slow computer, the bang for the buck value is low. It’s not slow compared to the C64 but for a $14K machine 1997 it’s darn slow.
The external harddrives I’m using:
Megadrive 18GB raid
I’m using the RAID0 solution where two 9 GB barracudas are linked together. That will create a continuous 18 GB volume. the SGI has a 64 bit filesystem so large files… NO PROBLEMAS.
The car I’m driving:
1994 Pontiac T/A ( 5.7L V8 280HP )
pontiac
The Trans am tribe
If you like KEWL cars and want to feel the raw power just kick you in the back get a TRANS AM!!!
As someone said: “There is no substitute for cubic inches!”.
There is a “de tomaso, panthera” in my garage that has this text under the reg. plate: “there are no atheists at 150mph”.
The bar I’m getting my beer from:
Westwood brewery
The neighborhood I’m living in:
Westwood, Los Angeles
Westwood is a part of west Los Angeles. It’s the part of LA associated with students since UCLA is located between Bel Air and Westwood. There are many restaurants, pubs and theatres. (people are actually using the sidewalks here.)
Q: What do you see when the smog clears off ???……
U.C.L.A. (If you did'nt get that repeat U.C.L.A a few times)
The paintball gun I’m using:
Automag
Well, let’s just say that the gun is not the limiting factor right now :)
The place I like to ski at:
Just a gorgeous place to ski at. It’s not the best place in the world, it is not famous, it’s not naked girls everywhere.. It’s just a nice place to ski at. (The cell phone is working there, it is important :).
The cell phone I’m using:
Qualcomm
A hybrid phone (works in analog and digital (cdma)). It’s actually the biggest phone I have ever owned, big does not mean great (girls, don't get me wrong.). The digital network in USA is not very good compared to Europe. I just don’t understand why they want to use some lousy digital standard here when the rest of the world is using GSM. Well by looking at history it might not be so strange after all.
60Hz - 50Hz NTSC - PAL 110V - 220V inch, yard, foot – metric system
cell phones owned by me:
microtac 5200 (GSM) (really big and ugly) microtac 7200 (GSM) (smaller but still ugly) nokia 2110 (GSM) (my favorite, was just kikkin’ ass 1995) Sony (the tiny tiny tiny sony.. had no keylock!!!!) (USA Analog) Nokia 232 (USA Analog) (the best analog) Audiovox (USA Analog) Qualcomm (Has a lot of features but the cell network don’t) (USA Analog + USA digital (cdma))
The stuff under my bed:
Some winter cloths put in a large plastic box. A scale Some napkins dust
