Food photography is one of those sidetracks that some chefs seem to drop into. I have had a love of photography for years and always seemed to have a camera by my side. This was true in high school when it seems that I was more interested in taking pictures than doing my schoolwork (imagine that!). It wasn't until I became responsible for menu cards and staff training that I got into the photography of food.
As I build this site and its recipe database I am also taking all of the images you see (it saves from paying Corbis or iStockPhoto). I hope that you enjoy some of these images and please check out the free recipes on the recipe page.
