Biographical Data:
Born ca 1950. Columbia BA, psychology. Stanford doctorate, nursery school in NH, Bureau of Jewish Education Boston, and Principal of Bet Shira Solomon Schechter Day School, Miami, in 1991.
Dr. Steve Chervin, Florence Melton Adult Mini-School: This is Steve's seventh year teaching in the Melton Mini-School for the MJCCA. He also directs Bait Aharon at Ahavath Achim Congregation. Steve has over 25 years of experience working in virtually every Jewish educational setting, including adult education, day school, camp, Federation, Bureau of Jewish Education, Israel experience, synagogue school, youth group, etc. He holds a doctorate in education from Stanford University, and studied as a Senior Educator at the Melton Centre for Jewish Education at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
