According to Geoff Krauss David's mother was English, her name was
Marjory, and his parents met while his father was stationed in England in WWII.
They lived on 181 Street or so, right off Union Turnpike in Queens NYC. Dave went to Ryan Jr HS and Jamaica High (Class of '61). He was heavily into jazz and HP Lovecraft, at the time. He also held a Technician-class amateur radio license with call WA2IYQ around 1960, but that was never renewed when it expired
