A Run down the Red

 
 
This is a series of photos from a little trip I took down the Red River one afternoon. I launched at the Bossier City ramp by the Shreveport-Barksdale bridge, and headed south all the way through the Joe D. Waggoner, Jr. Lock and Dam (No. 5) and down a mile or so before heading back.  There are a few pics along the way, which I'll explain at some point, and there is a series showing the 'locking through' exprerience.  So sit back, relax, and come ride with me down the Red!
