Dear Parents,

I hope everyone is enjoying the true feeling of fall in the air and that you're hearing beautiful music from your children. As of November, we will be starting in on Christmas music so they have many songs of the season ready to share! Don't forget to encourage them to play for you often and to practice daily. Please, check their notebooks to be sure that they are playing everything I've listed and that I will ask to hear in the next lesson. This will help immensely in their continuing progress.

For my alternating Saturday students, I will teach Nov. 7 and 21 and Dec. 5 and 19. Our next Group Lesson will be Dec. 12 when students will perform for the residents at Morningside Assisted Living. I will put them into small, 15-minute groupings from 2-4 PM so that the bulk of their afternoon is not affected. If you know of a time preference for that day, let me know. I will observe the public school vacations for Thanksgiving and Christmas. For those paying  a monthly rate, please remember that the fee is due on the first of each month. For those paying by the semester, the second payment of the year will be due Dec. 15. Call or email me for those details. I greatly appreciate your promptness in this matter. Since I make up for illness, as soon as you are aware your child is ill, please let me know. I am using hand sanitizer and cleaning the piano keys in hopes of keeping germs to a minimum here, but whenever possible, encourage your child to wash hands thoroughly before coming.

If you have any questions, please e-mail me at charsolomon2@earthlink.net or call 788-3619 or my cell: 796-5232.
