Originally, the web page here was very lame. Then after several years, I made a teeny bit of an effort, and used Frontpage to make version two, which was marginally better. This latest version isn't much of an improvement, but it is Frontpage-free, at long last! It also has a little bit more content.

I'm not easily impressed by graphics, I loathe music that pops up onto a page when I load it, and I really hate pop-up windows. So you'll find none of that here. If you're disappointed, see the first sentence on this page.

That aside, there are a very few things I'd like to share:

Orchids. My friend Bard got me hooked. It's all Bard's fault. I got talked into buying a bunch of orchids when visiting San Francisco. 2 died through mischance, and then Bard came by and talked me into buying MORE orchids. I find raising orchids a three step program. Your first goal is to keep them alive. Then you want them to thrive. Getting them to flower is the real accomplishment. I actually made it to step 3 on a few orchids in my collection now. I'm quite proud. I even have a home-made Wardian Case to keep them in, thanks to a brother-in-law and my spouse. What's a Wardian Case? Think of it as a Terrarium for orchids. I put in a few pics for the curious. Most of my collection are the odder looking orchids I just think they're nifty looking. I have a few varieties, mostly in the dark, cold and wet category like Draculas.

Cats. I have 2, Havoc and Java. They are brothers. Some person dumped them and their five siblings in a cardboard box by the stables where I used to go riding. We saw their cute little faces and just had to adopt them. Luckily, my landlord at the time fell for their cute act too and let them stay. They're not as small any more, but they're still cute and very cuddly. I've other pets, but they're not as cuddly, so I won't put their pictures here.

Sites I recommend. For one reason or another. It's all my opinion, so if you don't like it, look elsewhere, see?
