Thomas BICKHAM, Jr.

It appears that Thomas BICKHAM, Jr. did not marry nor have children.  What little is known of him follows:

 

7.  Thomas BICKHAM, Jr., son of Thomas BICKHAM and Elizabeth HOPPER, was born about 1727 in Gloucester County, New Jersey and died before 12 December 1754 in Gloucester County, New Jersey.1   

Recorded events in his life were: 

  Will Abstract of Thomas Bickham, Jr.,2of Greenwich Township, Gloucester Co. yeoman. The will was written 30 November 1754. His mother is mentioned but not by name. Thomas named his brothers and sisters as Joshua, Patience, Caleb, Margret and Elisabeth. Both real and personal estate are mentioned. The executor was named as James Hinchman. Witnesses were Abram Chattin, Joseph Lord, and Nixon Chattin. The will was proved 12 December 1754.

  The Will of Thomas Bickham was written 30 November 1754, in Greenwich Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey.3 "of the Township of Greenwitch in the County of Gloucester . . . Being sick and very weake in Body . . . I give and bequeath to my dear and loving mother the sum of twenty pounds to be paid by my executor here under named in one year after my decease and all the remainder of my estate both real and personal to be equally divided between my brothers and sisters to say Joshua Patience Caleb Margret and Elisabeth in one year after my deseas and whereas my Father by his last will being duly proved did make me one of his executors and as ____ he before his deseas did bargain and sell his plantation lying and joyning on Delaware River in the Township of Greenwitch aforesaid unto one John Halton  . . . my trusty and beloved Friend James Hinchman my hole and sole executor . . . " Witnesses were Abra. Chattin, Joseph Lord, and Nixon Chattin.

  The will of Thomas Bickham, Jr. was proved 12 December 1754.3

  The Inventory3 of Thomas Bickham, Jr. was made on 5 June 1755, in Gloucester County, New Jersey, by Thos Wilkins and William Key, and signed by Joshua Bickham, the executor. The value of the estate was L121.4.11.
