Micro Craft manufactured the X-43A and distributed 100 of these 1/12 scale models.  Both the aircraft and the Buck Rogers-ish stand are made of a soft plastic. Manufacturer of  the model is unknown; an indistinct slug that looks like "G-PAR" is stamped into the base. The base also has NASA's "HyperX" circular logo stamped into the top. Fuselage length is 12 inches. Micro Craft's Dave Putnam sent this to me in February 2000.
