Northrop Grumman X-47B/BN by PacMin
|
|
Northrop Grumman's entries in DARPA's J-UCAS competition were designated
the X-47B (USAF) and X-47BN (Navy). In 2004 NG commissioned PacMin to produce 1/48 scale models in both Navy and
USAF markings, and requested that the X-47BN be shown with the retractable refueling probe extended. PacMin's hallmark
appears under the fuselage and is also etched into the bottom of the stand. These models arrived through the extraordinary
help of Tom Twomey and Jim Gross.
