North American Aviation's in-house model shop made this for USAF Gen. Bernard Shriever by starting with a Topping X-15. The tanks and a fuselage plug were added, the cockpit window was repainted to depict the eyebrows windows, and the tail flash and numbers were added. Length is just under 16 inches. Purchased for the collection in summer 2008.
