Pacific Miniatures made a very small number of these 1/17 scale X-45B models for Boeing; all were large (33" wingspan) and mounted on chromed tripod floor stands. Markings are low-vis USAF and read: "WA 06 345." A 1/48 scale version of the X-45B, probably made in the Phillippines (and bearing the serial number 07-645), is available through several Internet dealers but is not a factory model. The X-45B--a 25% larger version of the X-45A--was folded into Boeing's X-45C program just eight months after it began.

Model is very light and secured to the tripod stand with two screw-in thumbwheels. All control surfaces, landing gear covers, and bomb doors are expertly inscribed. No manufacturer hallmarks appear on either the model or the stand.
