Welcome to the “Still Alive and Well” website of Chris Gurley. Why have I created this site you may ask? It comes with the broadband service, and I am paying for it so by God I am going to use it!

The musical piece accompanying the home page is an original creation by yours truly. It was created much for the same reason as this site. I have a keyboard that is a mini recording studio. I didn’t buy it for that reason, but since it came with the package I figured I would put it to use. The tune is entitled Inspire Me and was written around 1994. I’d like to thank and give credit to Tom Leahy for the changeup in the song. Although his bass work is not in this cut, he provided the chord changes for the refrain. He is a fine musician and a decent human being. If you are ever in SC and hear his name you would do well to go hear his music.

Edit:

Tom has since moved up north but is still in the music scene. If you want to hear what he is into these daze click here.

This is the part of the website that will take you to the places you cannot get to from the navigation bar on the left side of the page. As in life some things on this site are not laid out under your nose, but they are not hard to find if you take the time to look. Just click on this to see why I even bothered to create this website.

You also have the option of hanging out here, listening to the jams, and playing with the mouse.

Wanna say hi after all of these years?

Hey! Earthlink provides this webpage to me at no charge. That is just one of the benefits you get with an Earthlink broadband account. You get 10 megabytes of web space per email address. You get 8 email addresses in total with your Earthlink broadband service, so you actually have 80 megabytes of web space. Why aren’t you calling them up right now? Or just go to http://www.earthlink.net/highspeed/. When you do, please mention that cgurley@earthlink.net referred you to them. They will give me a break on my bill, and you will be getting great broadband service that is a bit cheaper than Road Runner. We all win, and you get your own webpage. Go wild and do it now!
