We stayed at the Indian Lodge in the Davis Mtns. State Park.  It was constructed by the CCC during the Depression.  It is extremely peaceful and beautiful.

The Texas Star Party is held near Ft. Davis which is the location of the Ft. Davis National Historic Park.  It is an 1800's era frontier fort with ruins and hiking trails.

Here we are on the upper observing field with the C-9.25 and C-14 that we used.
