I've had several old musclecars, four Dodge Challengers (a 73, a 72, another 73 and my current 70 convertible), one
70 Firebird 350, it was a very well balanced ride, and a 66 Dodge Coronet with a 383 big block, that I sold last year.
My current project is a 74 Dodge Dart Sport 360, Brown with Black/Beige interior. It Dart Sport has buckets and
a console, fold down rear seat and factory hood scoops. It might be the fastest car Dodge made that year.
They did have some 400 Bodies which probably would give it a good run and 360 E-bodies, but the Dart is lighter, so who knows?
If you do, please give me the 1/4 mile stats for 1974. I also drove a 72 Cutlass Supreme and a 73 Charger SE for a while
too. I guess the smell of burning rubber is hard to forget...

I'm also a big fan of Full Size Jeeps. Not the little wimpy ones you generally see on the road or at your dealership
today, but the big old ones. Full Size Jeeps had one of longest production runs of any vehicle ever made. They
made nearly identicle vehicles from 1963 to 1991.
I sold my 1979 Cherokee S back in Nov '03. It was a great running truck with an AMC 360 motor with a edelbrock
intake and a Carter four barrel carburator. I really enjoy these trucks. I thought I was going to have to trade
it for a four door model Grand Wagoneer before my son Campbell cam, but after looking for a good Wag for several months, I
decided it wasn't going to be as big a hassle for a two-door jeep as I first thought.

So I found pretty much exactly what I what I really wanted online, a cleaner, lower mileage Cherokee with power
windows and a 6 cyl. I spoke extensively with the owner, made an offer and flew up to Chicago to pick
it up. Its was a nice smooth trip back to Austin. The Cherokee was originally from Arizona so there
is no major rust on the truck, and the rust that did develop up there in salted roadland will be fixed with the new in the
box replacement fenders provided by the previous owner (PO).
Here is my new daily driver. Its an '83 Cherokee Limited. Now Jeep did not build a Cherokee Limited, so the
PO went and built his own form a Laredo model. This thing has power everything, pwr mirrors, locks, windows, seats,
it has nice leather seats and cruise control. The owner added interior woodgrain to the dash and door panels.
I have since added an explorer console and replaced the headliner and added some exterior stripes.
The motor is a 258 straight six that has been bored .06" over and has a 4.0 H.O. head from a newer 4 liter jeep for a
new displacement of 270 cubic inches. It has Howell throttle body fuel injection tha seems to work pretty good.
I haven't noticed any reduction in power from the 360 in my old 79 Cherokee and the best part is its getting ~ 16 mpg.
The PO said that he got almost 20 mpg after he bought it in back in '98. I hope that I'll be able to increase it somewhat
with a better intake and exhaust system.

| Here's the jeep right before I got it in July 04, why do all my vehicles end up some sort of purple! |

| The interior is in really good condition. Its also pretty quiet with no squeaks and creaks. |

I have one complete Rhino Grill setup for sale. It includes all pieces, including the hardware to complete
the transformation of your full size jeep.
Its not perfect (there is a little rust on the grill and it needs polishing) but it is complete and in great shape for
a driver.
I also have an extra set of hole covers for sale, as well as an extra grill medalion. Make me an offer.
