The following was created by Meredith Quinn. The lab was titled "Complex Circuits." I've included this cover because it allows me to make an important observation that may well explain why some students take so much time to do a nice lab cover even after they've spent hours trying to get a #@*#@#* write-up to work out. IT IS CATHARTIC. When you're so frustrated that you could scream, wouldn't it just feel good to do something awful to the Rabbit, or to badmouth the mothers of physicists the world over, or to find a SCREW VEGETARIANS, EAT MEAT sticker to put on your cover when you know full well that your teacher is a vegetarian. Meredith was a delightful young lady who did a number of other great lab covers. She was also an excellent student. I've picked this less than becoming cover of hers (oh, forgive me Meredith) because it does such a nice job of animating a relatively common theme: the "I'd like to rip someone's head off" emotion that comes when the math just won't cooperate. Meredith graduated from Poly in 1995.
. . . Just wait--it's coming!
