North Carolina Junior Classical League Homepage

NCJCL Handbook

A JCL Project will be assigned for all students at the start of the second semester. It will count as a test grade.

  • Certamen counts as a project for any student faithfully attending all practices.
  • Students may do more than one project and earn bonus points for the second.
  • Modern Myth or Creative Writing will be required for Latin III only and counts as a test grade.
  • Poetry (well polished) can count as a project. 
  • Projects selected to represent the school will earn a coin.
  • Winning projects will earn a 95 on a 2nd semester test.

**COSTUME CONTEST: Girls: Ceres; Boys: Pluto; Couples: Antony and Cleopatra - due April
