IAM: only human.

"This week I lost my keys, I lost my phone, I lost a friend...
and a host of other things went wrong.
It was not a good week at all.
This week I needed you more than ever. And you did not come. And I had to live with that too.
Yet in there somewhere, I found peace.
But not without the deep pain that lead me to it.
How is it that things can be so bad sometimes? So disorganized? Cruel?
We can only do our best. There is no more than that."*
In in this spirit, the Ivanhoe Artists Mosaic moves forward.
Because amidst the horror, we have a duty...
We have a duty to Art! We have a duty to Culture! And we are all for Fun!
But we want a serious arts organization where we can be creative and make a difference in this community!
This is quite a charge!
And so timely, because although the old Piscean age of war seems to be holding steady, it is passing.
It won't leave without resistance, disappointment and pain.
And as artists we too falter and forget that pain is a part of growth and most times it is necessary before change.
So we fight and kill each other in the struggle, and we live in denial until we are ready to accept the truth.
And like it or not the age of Aquarius is upon us and the
"crusades" will fade with the coming of a new dawn and the acceptance of life lived differently.
We believe in the life where we all are equal and revered and pain is not as common.
We understand that time will have to pass and we may not live to be a part of it.
But we struggle toward it just the same.
This is our Labor. It brings us joy and pain. And forward we must go!
We are ready to do this! Are you ready for us? This is it Folks!
The time has come!
We hope to finish our incorporation in time for our usual... Labor of love! The Great Falls Festival 2006!
Wish us well. And don't forget to support us in this effort.
