Welcome to CCR Kennels Started to finished dogs. Hunting pets to AKC competition we may have dogs that fit your exact needs.

Coastal Carolina Retriever Kennels is owned and operated by Pete & Julie Janke and located in Gresham, South Carolina. We are about 40 miles From Myrtle Beach. It is situated on 55 acres of property with the adjoining 40 acres maintained strictly for dog training. We have access to over 1,000 acres of property for both land and water work ranging from large open hay fields to grazing pastures with very cover and ditches. Water is from open water to technical re-entry points and island ponds. All these are within minutes of ours. We also have sole rights on another several thousand-acre farm about 30 miles. Cooper Black State field trial grounds home of the 2005 national open is about 65 miles away for our use also. Trials and hunt test very from 1 1/2 to 6 hours from here covering the southeast.

Training

We train mainly for competition and limited gun dogs. We have several litters of pups a year. Our started dogs for sale are either competition or gun dog ready. They are from our breeding brought through the entire program from pups to sale by us. We are active members in Palmetto Retriever Club and the Golden Retriever Club of America.

Boarding

We offer a boarding kennel for Myrtle Beach Area and the South Carolina coast. Depending on your route, you may go right by us on your way to the beach for vacation. We can board your dog for you within easy reach. Fenced exercise area for the dogs about one acre. Different programs available.

• Basic Boarding - $10.00 per day

• Boarding with a.m. & p.m. exercise times - $15.00 per day

• Boarding for your retriever with daily work and birds - $20.00 per day

We will work with you for your dogs personal needs.
