CCR Kennels - Training
At CCR Kennels we take pride in our
young dogs trying to bring out the most enthusiastic, high desire to
retrieve dog that possibly can. We try to keep number of dogs in
training at number where all dogs get the work required daily.
We train and run trials and hunt test
through out the south and east coast. In trials, we run 16 to 20 with
Pete handling the dogs. In hunt tests with Julie handling the dogs, she
runs 10 to 15 mainly running doubleheaders to get the most out of the
travel. We run dogs in all stakes in both trials and hunt tests.

PUPPY SOCIALIZATION PROGRAM:
Limit 2 pups.

Program for pups from 8 weeks to 6
months. On trucks daily in the field and water for maximum exposure to
all conditions they will encounter. Lots of puppy bumpers and birds for
desire. Light general obedience starting at 14 weeks old. This program
is for the person short on time to put into their young dog. We will try
to bring out their best ready for a full training program whether with
us, another trainer, competition, or hunting companion.

COMPLETE TRAINING
- GENERAL:

Program that includes from obedience,
force fetching, collar conditioning, yard work, drills, and onto
competition level work. Marks, marks. and more marks also into blind
work in the field. Whether open dog or junior hunter, test are set up
for all the dogs at different levels of ability daily.

GUN DOG:
Limited openings

Program that goes from basics through
handling. For well bred retrievers to be a great hunting companion. We
feel any gun dog should be at junior hunter level preferably at senior
level.

If your dog is not able. we will be
truthful and up front on all aspects.

OTHER

Need short term work or handling. We will
work with you for your needs for trials or hunt tests. Prices by the
day.

We do not limit owners from being with us
but encourage owners to come as much as possible to run their dog or
watch training.

All training prices include monthly heart
worm, food, board, and birds. All dogs must be current on all shots and
kennel cough.
