I grew up in Japan so it is "home" to me. Whenever I get home I marvel at the difference in the climate in comparison to Southern California, a desert, where I've lived the past 20+ years of my life. The many shades of green are so intriguing and pleasant to the eyes. Most of my photos are taken in Kyushu including Kujukushima, Fukuoka, Beppu, Oita, Raizan National Park, Aso National Park. My photos of other areas are growing with each return home.
