here's a pie I made up that is so good, and flexible. you can make a regular pie crust or a chocolate or graham cracker crumb crust, or you can use no crust at all. first prepare your 9" pie shell and cool, if using one. filling: crush enough sliced strawberries to make 2 cups. sweeten with a little sugar if you want. set aside. in a custard cup, put 1/2 cup fruit juice - I've used fresh tangerine, orange, and fresa (the crushed strawberries, sugar and water drink you get at the taqueria or make yourself), use whatever you have on hand. stir in an envelope of unflavored gelatin. if the juice isn't acid enough to easily melt the gelatin, put the cup in a pan with 1 inch of hot water and stir til gelatin dissolves, then cool. stir gelatin stuff into crushed strawberries along with 8oz of a harmonizing flavored yogurt - I like boysenberry, but lemon or orange or strawberry or banana would be good. pour the filling into the pie shell, pie pan or other container(s) and
chill for 3 or 4 hours. serve with whipped cream.
