Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Bill Puckett and aside from being a husband and a father, the thing I love the most in this world is catfishing!  Ive spent some years now dedicating all my free time to learning the tricks of the trade in the pursuit of trophy flathead and blue catfish.

There are a few of us that form what we call "Team B.C.D." short for "big cat diaries". No, we arent a competitive catfish team. We are simply a small group of people who are good friends chasing the same goal. We work together gathering and sharing information, and spend alot of time fishing together. There is myself, my wife Jennie, my best friend Big D (Daryl), Nate Dog, the carpmeister Charlie, and the newest member Im proud to say, my son and pride and joy Austin. Austin is a very mature 9yrs. old and is doing some serious catfishing.

All the work Ive put into this site is dedicated to every catman out there. Big and small, veteran and newcomer. My goal is to extend as much gathered knowledge as I can and put it on these pages. We work hard to represent as much truth as we can about this wonderful species of fish. We are strict Catch, Photograph, Release fisherman and push very hard for the conservation of the species and the waters they reside in. We include as much information as possible on this subject as well.

Our goal is to offer as much as possible to the other dedicated catfisherman out there, be it information, or special deals we can secure through our affiliates.

I hope you enjoy spending time on this site as much as Ive enjoyed building it for you. We have our own message boards to share your experiences with others, and we encourage you to do so.
