Heh... and you thought this was dead... (5/21/2002): Lots of information updated (it's been nearly two years!) Note: I've had more than a few email mishaps over the last 21 months, and MANY emails have been lost due to geocities.com deciding not to forward among other issues, and I have undoubtedly missed a lot. Please do not take this as a personal slight. I am working on building a manageable system to handle email (and respond), in the meantime the Earthlink account is the best one to email me at.
Some more updates (8/21/2000): Lots of info updated
Quick and quiet update (3/26/1900): This update is only really to fix a problem with the last update where for some reason some of the changes I made to the pages weren't retained for some reason. Mainly the downloads page has been changed
The other update of a "century"(3/23/1900): Actually, this one is relativley minor. Just added an item to Walrus Writings and updated my free software page (with new downloads!)
The update of a "century"(3/21/1900): No, I haven't come to the conclusion that HTML content need be purely static. In fact, I have just been pining for an opportunity to update this page. (or so I would have you all believe) Much around here has changed, and I invite you all to revel in the updated HTML! Also, I now have a small downloads section where you can download free software I have developed!
Another actual update! (2/1/99): ml.org seems to be dead forever, so my cool web address of http://iamwalrus.home.ml.org/ won't work anymore. Redirect your bookmarks to http://home.earthlink.net/~casaburi/ please. Pretty soon I'm going to get a domain for my company, and as soon as I do, I'll probably move Pepperland over to that domain. Check here for updates on this. Also, I have updated info on this page for my Spring '99 semester of school (which is likely my final semester at Berkeley).
Since you spent your precious time trudging through the web, I guess I am obligated to contribute my bit to your information overload. I am a graduate from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School and a graduate (??) of UC Berkeley.
As I have been rejected quarth (after time #3 I got to invent my own word) from the Computer Science major and minor at Berkeley, I am a Political Science major.
I am a registered Democrat, and I am the former External Affairs Vice President of UC Berkeley's Cal Berkeley Democrats "organization". (I use the quotes because as any person with a political background knows, the Democratic party is not synonomous with organization) I am the former-web master for Cal Berkeley Democrats the club, and I write the occasional article for it's newspaper, The Smart Ass.
As you may have been able to guess from my "alias" and the title of this webpage, I am a long time fan of the greatest musical group ever, The Beatles. I have been loving their music ever since I was three years old.
On top of all of that, I am a programmer, I have worked on a few research projects in UC Berkeley's Computer Science department in the Group for User Interface Research, and I am a frequent tutor and reader for Computer Science courses. I also am the author of a few freeware digital video processing tools for Virtualdub.
I've been using the great information tool known as the internet for over a decade and I'm perpetually amazed with it.
Anyways, please check back every once in a while and with luck I'll be able to spruce this place up a bit.
I no longer have any idea what happened with The PVPHS Alumni Email database. Apparently, PVPUSD has implemented a database, but unfortunatly it is not searchable... and more importantly it no longer seems to be online.
You can access all kinds of other web pages from my links page
After all of this, if you feel like emailing me, you can do so by emailing casaburi@earthlink.net
