are being taught by Jim
Casaburi, a second year teacher of Advanced Placement Computer
Science. Previously I taught at Palos
Verdes Peninsula High School from November of 2002 through June of
2003.
I graduated UC Berkeley in the Spring of 2002 with a BA in Political Science. I am currently enrolled at Cal State Univeristy at Long Beach working towards a Masters of Science in Computer Science. While at Berkeley I was employed by the Computer Science department at a tutor and reader for many of their courses and for a while I was a researcher for the Computer Science Group For User Interface Research. I am the author of a few free open-source tools for digital video processing and digital audio processing and I have developed software for many companies in the Los Angeles area and have developed software tools for the California Democratic Party while working there. In addition I have been an independent software/network and computer consultant for Joseph Cohen Computing from 1996 through 2003. In 1997 I graduated from Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. Among my other interests are the Beatles (and other related groups), politics, Star Trek, Star Wars, Simpsons, Monty Python, and many other geek-related subjects.
