Notes for SARAH REBECCAH CAVENDER:

Sarah Rebecca Thomason applied for Widow's Pension for her husband serving in the Civil War, application # W4517, and was rejected by the State of Tennessee.  On this application, she stated that the family moved to Tennessee in 1869.  She also stated that her husband served in Capt Whiteheads Co. Col. Nix's Regt. for 1 year, but his papers were lost.  See the transcription of her application in PDF format.

    Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Church is on Silver City Rd., east of Rocky Point Church    Emley's gravestone has been partially buried in concrete so dates are now unreadable.  Her grave is the second oldest grave in this cemetery.  No other Thomasons are buried there.
