Caroline has worked as a K-2nd grade teacher and sole school counselor for 800 students.  She has also worked as a counselor in private practice.  She recently closed her practice and is focusing on writing and illustrating.

Caroline is a Copywriter/Editor & Illustrator for the Teaching Resource Center.  She is also the Illustrator Coordinator for www.MyLightMagazine.com  Caroline is the author and illustrator of Bumble Bear:  Daniel Bear Learns a Lesson

Caroline was a board member for the Oregon Association for Play Therapy during 2008.  While attending Holy Names University she was the President of the Psychology Club and the Vice President of the PSI-CHI Honor Society. 

Caroline began writing and illustrating stories as a very young child.  She is the oldest of 4 girls, and her parents divorced when she was 7.  Her earliest memory of being recognized for her art was at the age of 7, when she won a 1st place ribbon for her art at a nature center in California.  As a teen, Caroline and her sister, Kathryn (in heaven now), produced Teen Talk, a local talk show in Fremont, California.  Kathryn was the star of the show.  Caroline edited Kathryn's scripts, coordinated the set design and assisted with video production.

She is married to Dan, a musician, who also works in compensation at a software company.  They have one darling daughter.
