On March 8, 1841, the following eight petitioners (listed in alphabetical
order), on behalf of themselves and twenty other individuals, asked for and were
placed in possession of a land grant in Chilili, Bernalillo County, New Mexico:

On March 20, 1841 Governor of New Mexico, Manuel Armijo authorized the senior justice of the 3rd judicial district to place the above parties in possession of the land grant.
On March 29, 1841 the senior justice referred the matter to commissioned Don Antoñio Ruiz to place the settlers in possession of the land grant.

On December 17, 1856, the following individuals, "heirs and actual
settlers" (listed in alphabetical order) gave notice to the U.S. Surveyor
General of their claim under the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo of the town and
land grant at Chilili:
