Golden Oldies

BISS Am/Can Ch. Carmylie Elusive Dream
(Ch. Halstor's Peter Pumpkin - Jomar Carmylie Love's Magic)

A well-known and popular son of the legendary Peter Pumpkin, TIGER was Best of Winners at the 1981 ASSA National Specialty in Lubbock, Texax.  He sired 9 champions in a relatively brief stud career.

Ch. Carmylie As If Bi Chance
(Philidove Neva Can Say Goodby - Carmylie Black Lace)

CHANCE was a trend-setter, paving the way for modern bi-blacks in show competition, where it was difficult to title one prior to her time. She was the first black and white female to finish in US breed history, winning three 5-point specialties on the way to her title.

Am/Can Ch. Carmylie The Merry Chase ROMC,UD, Can CDX
(Am/Can Ch. Carmylie Foremost All's Fair, Am/Can CD, ROMC - Ch. Lorien's Galadrial)

Aptly named, CHASE accomplished many goals in both breed and obedience. It was a great thrill to pilot him to a Group win from the classes all by myself. Thanks to co-owner Barbara Hackel, he scored many high-in-trials in obedience. He is Carmylie's first Champion/UD.

Ch. Carmylie Carioca of Kaher
(Ch. Halstor's Peter Pumpkin - Carmylie Scottish Charm)

One of those special dogs, CAREY was a constant ballplayer, car companion, and my best friend till she had to leave at 15 1/2.

Am/Can Ch. Carmylie Foremost All's Fair, Am/Can CD, ROMC
(Banchory Reflection ROM - Carmylie Kaher K. Sarah, Am/Can CDX, ROMC)

A little guy - it was ALEX who, through the sale of his mother, initiated a long enduring friendship with Gina Loffredo of Foremost in Canada. To this day, many breed and obedience champions bear the dual names of Carmylie and Foremost. ALEX is pictured here with his three champion sons from one litter: Ch. Carmylie Super Trooper, Can. Ch. Carmylie Apricot Brandy, and Am/Can Ch. Carmylie The Merry Chase, UD, Can CDX.

Ch. Carmylie Polly Paintbrush
(Ch. Banchory Deep Purple, ROM - Ch.
Carmylie As If Bi Chance)

POLLY was a demure lady, with a mind of her own. She was beautiful, and knew it. Most of my Any-Other-Colors come down from her.

Ch. Lorien's Galadrial
(Ch. Romayne's Sportin' Life - Heatherland's Dream Pumpkin)

Pictured winning Best Veteran at age 10. GLAD was added to the fold when she was about 4, because of her marvelous disposition and true soundness. She was a "laster" and was finished when she was 6 1/2. GLAD figures in most of the current Carmylie sables, and is even behind our bi-black Smitty.
