Overview
The curriculum for English 12 classes has been designed to ensure students achieve the learning goals established by the State of California and the Vallejo City Unified School District. Beginning with the 2007-2008 school year, all English 12 classes across the district will utilize the newly adopted Holt Literature & Language Arts Sixth Course curriculum materials. Student resources include: Literature & Language Arts; Interactive Reader; and the Holt Handbook.
Beyond the prescribed curriculum, however, it is my sincere hope that students will be interested in and intrigued by the various assignments we will complete throughout the year. Learning should, of course, be challenging, but it should also be engaging and dynamic. For that reason, I work very hard to design assignments that are relevant and meaningful to my students.
