These hand embroidered cotton jackets have an ingenious design. Look closely and you will see the silhouette of
the holy city of Bethlehem against the night sky. The moon and stars shine down on hillside houses and churches, and
reveal hand embroidered flower boxes, trees and fountains.

Hand loomed jacquard fabric is cut in the shape of hillside houses and churches, then stitched to each jacket
by hand. Each jacket is unique in design and embroidery. Available in black or burgundy. Specify small,

These jackets are created by a German clothing designer who lives in Damascus. She visited Bethlehem and was awed
by the vision of the city against the night sky. She designed the jacket to capture her vision and now employs several
dozen young women in Damascus to hand make her jackets, which she exports to clothing boutiques throughout Europe.
