Ranger 169 Ghost The Ranger 169 Ghost is quite possibly the perfect guide's boat for the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River Lagoon. I say this because unlike the typical flats skiff of today, the Phantom is built for the CLIENTS comfort, not the Captains. Don't get me wrong, I'm plenty comfortable in my Ghost, but it is a little harder to "push" than the narrower craft that are popular today. What does this mean to you as a perspective client? That's easy this boat is STABLE….. I don't care how much we all move around the boat will never feel like it is tipping over. At 16'8" the vessel easily accommodates two anglers while floating in mere inches of water. The Ghost is still able to cross the open water in choppy conditions too in order to reach fish on opposite shores when necessary. The vessel if fully rigged with GPS, Powerpole, Trolling Motor, Jackplate and pushpole. Virtually everything a boat needs to fish effectively in the shallow waters of the Mosquito Lagoon and Indian River Lagoon. Capt. Mark also supplies quality tackle for his client's convenience. Spinning gear is normally used, but push button or fly fishing gear can be provided upon request. No licenses are required to be purchased as the vessel is licensed for your convenience. Bottled water and ice are also provided. The client can virtually step on and off the vessel with no more than a few personal items than a hat, sunglasses and possibly lunch if you are fishing a full day. |
