Dag 609 Monomict-brecciated Eucrite
Fresh interior: Compare with weathered eucrites sold elsewhere @ 1/3 more!

This is an iron-rich monomict eucrite, containing chromite grains.  Chromite is iron chromium oxide, FeCr2O4.  TKW = 696 g, Weathering = 2.  Fs% 27 - 63.  Found 1998 by the SaharaMet team.    We cut a rectangular block from the above individual for limited number of  thin-sections (Special order). A portion of this specimen will be retained for permanent placement in the R. N. Hartman Museum Collection of meteorites..   Pieces listed below are available.
