Our Mission
The fundraising profession is evolving as the roles and
duties of the professional fundraiser change along with the ever-shifting financial, societal and operational environment
affecting the way funds are raised and how the business of fundraising is conducted. The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is committed to preparing its members, the profession
and the sector to respond to this evolution.
AFP members are committed to advancing ethical and effective
fundraising and philanthropy in each community. The
Coastal Bend Chapter of AFP offers educational programs for members and non-members year-round. Programs provide
information that is helpful for professionals at all stages of their careers, from the beginner to the seasoned fundraiser.
