SUPPLEMENTAL RENTAL INFORMATION
• A group smaller than the required minimum may rent any building, but they must pay the minimum rental fee
• Weekday rentals (Sunday night through Thursday night) from the day after
Labor Day until the day before Memorial Day require no minimum rental numbers
• The Presbytery discount is given in recognition of the financial support
our Presbyteries provide to the camping ministry. The discount is available
ONLY on the rental of IMPROVED BUILDINGS to groups from congregations in the
Presbyteriesof Beaver/Butler, Kiskiminetas, Lake Erie and Shenango. The discount
is not available to Presbyterian groups from outside our support area nor is
it available to colleges or family reunions, etc. because these entities do
not provide direct financial support to the camping ministry.
• Groups wishing to have ‘exclusive use’ of either camp property
must rent all improved buildings on that site for the period of the exclusive
use. A separate lease agreement will be required of all groups seeking exclusive
use.
• Sleeping on the
floor of a non-sleeping building (i.e. the chapel) is discouraged. In special
circumstances such rentals may be accepted at a rate of $3 per person per night.
• The Camping Association
does not offer food service to its rental users. If a group wishes to have food
service while at camp, the Camping Office can provide a list of local caterers
who can provide meals. Arrangements for such catered meal service are made between
the rental group and the caterer; the Camping Association assumes no responsibility
for such outside contacted food service.
• Single family seven
day rentals of Luther Lodge at Westminster Highlands are eligible for a special
rate of $70 per night for nights one and two and $60 per night for each subsequent
night. This rate applies ONLY to SINGLE FAMILY stays of seven or more consecutive
nights. The rate DOES NOT apply to multi-family groups or to youth group rentals.
