Some of you are already familiar with the Coveleigh Club in Rye. Personally, I would never be a member of a club
that would accept me as a member (thanks Groucho!). Anyway, I included a link below to their website which gives you
a bit of information about the place. It is located on Stuyvesant Ave off Milton Road (Milton Point).
On Friday night, October 16 they will host us for $45 per guest (plus 20% gratuity) which includes:
- an hour of hors d'oeuvres on the outdoor patio
- fruit, vegetable, cheese display
- Cobb salad/Caesar salad station
- Pasta station with 2 pastas and 2 sauces
- Peking Duck with mini egg rolls and pot stickers
- London Broil and Ham carving stations
- Cash bar (sorry about that!)
- dessert (assortment of cookies and chocolate covered strawberries)
Adding the tip and entertainment will add another $20 per guest. So, for $65
per guest we are in a beautiful place on the water, great service and food, excellent entertainment,
and familiar surroundings.
Optional Saturday Activities
10am: Rye High School tour
- bring back memories and see Rye's tax dollars
in action for the past 35 years
2pm: Rye-Harrison Football Game - Harrison High School
- I am sure a group of people will want to go (depending on weather).
7pm - ?: Meet at Rye Grill (old Mug Ale House) at train station
- Saturday night those available
will meet locally to continue "catching up"
All Saturday activities are completely optional, and you can pick and choose to do all three, or none. All
fees collected for the reunion event are for payment of the Friday night reunion at the Coveleigh Club only.
