Directions to Camp Hat Creek

 From the North  (Lynchburg Area)
Follow 501 South through Rustburg and Gladys and past William Campbell High School
(approximately 1 mile to Route 605 Swinging Bridge Road)
Turn left onto 605.
Follow 605 for 4 miles and turn left onto 601 (Hat Creek Road).
Follow 601 for 2 miles to Camp Hat Creek entrance.

From the North (Appomattom Area)
Follow Route 24 to Rustburg
Then follow Route 501 (per the same direction as from Lynchburg Area)

From the East (Charlotte Court House Area)

Follow Route 40 West to 605 and turn right just after Falling River Baptist Church.
Follow 605 (Swinging Bridge Road) for I mile and turn Right on to 601 (Hat Creek Road).
Follow 601 for 2 miles to the Camp Hat Creek entrance.

From the West (Gretna, Route-29 and Rocky Mount area)
Follow Route 40 East to Route 501 just south of Brookneal. Turn left onto 501 for 2 miles to Brookneal.
Turn right onto Route 40 at the traffic light just after the RR tracks.
 Follow Route 40 for 3 miles and turn Left on 605 (Swinging Bridge Road) at Edward's General Store.
Follow 605 for 1 (one) mile and turn right onto 601 (Hat Creek Road). Follow 601 for 2 miles to the Camp Hat Creek entrance.

From the South (South Boston area). Follow Route 501 north to Brookneal. Turn right on Route 40 at the traffic light, just after the RR tracks. Follow Route 40 for 3 miles and turn Left on 605 (Swinging Bridge Road) at Edward's General Store. Follow 605 for 1 (one) mile and turn right onto 601 (Hat Creek Road). Follow 601 for 2 miles to the Camp Hat Creek entrance.

From Roanoke and Blacksburg. The easiest and quickest route is to take Route 460 to Lynchburg and Route 501 South and follow the directions from Lynchburg.
Allow 1 hour & 45 minutes from Roanoke.

The more scenic route is Route 24 to Route 501 just south of Rustburg, turn right onto 501 and follow the directions from Lynchburg;
