Frequently asked question's by Clubs 1) At the bottom of the voucher form, a signature is required. Who must sign the form? The member or a Club representative? Member 2) On the first line of the voucher, "Club Name/Number" is required. What "Number" is the Club to include on the form? Reading the serial number of the voucher, 06 is year, XXXX is your club number and then is the rest of the voucher number. 3) As referenced on the bottom of the voucher, what is "NYS Snowmbobile PAC" and where does the $0.25 money go? NYS Snowmobile Polotical Action Committee. The $.25 goes to political donations. If a member mails in a club membership application and and there is not a place on that application to check off for NYS Snowmobile PAC, the club membership administrator should check off no as that decision is to be made by member. 4) How does the Club go about registering its grooming sleds (Skandics)through DMV? Do we need to do anything differently this year like reference vouchers, etc.? Use one voucher to register your clubs sleds. We will have a category for clubs to account for that voucher in the database. Obviously, clubs will not owe $5.00 to NYSSA for that voucher. 5) When will the NYSSA online registration site be up and working? We are making progress and I hope it will be working in a couple weeks. 6) Since vouchers are a duplicate form and not triplicate, does NYSSA want the Clubs to mail a photocopy of the voucher to NYSSA with each membership or is the online system sufficient for NYSSA to have info on file? Log your member into the online database is sufficient. Keep your copy of the voucher. At the end of the season, NYSSA will do an audit of vouchers with clubs and an audit with the DMV's list of snowmobilers who received a club discount to insure they are a in fact a club member. 7) When should the Club's expect to receive the annual membership cards from NYSSA? NYSSA is implementing a new membership card program. NYSSA will be issuing via mail from the online database, a plastic membership card and welcome letter to each member with the member's and clubs name on it. There will be NO cost or work for the clubs.
