Psalm 110 is quite glorious. According to the Hebrew Text that I have, it contains 65 words and 241 letters, if I counted correctly. Remarkably the middle word is YHVH, and the middle letter would be Kaf. There is
some significance to the letter Kaf, but I will wait before I write anything about that now. I
highlighted YHVH in blue and the letter Kaf in red for you in the Hebrew text below. By the way if you would
like to have the Hebrew text and many other fine tools for studying the Word on your computer, go to this link for free
Bible software: www.e-sword.net (Feel free to donate to his site, E-Sword is a great tool). Lest I forget, cry
out to YHVH in the Name of Yeshua, for His interpretation of His Word by the Power of Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit)!!! Amen! Let us look at Psalm 110 now.

(Psalms 110:1) A Psalm of David. A declaration of YHVH to my Adon:
Sit at My right hand, until I place Your enemies as Your footstool.
There are many Psalms of David in which he ascribes the title Adon to YHVH: Psalm 8:1, 9;
97:5; 135:5; 136:1, 2, 3; 147:1-20.
(Psalms 110:2) YHVH shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion to
rule in the midst of Your enemies.
(Psalms 110:3) Your people shall have willingness in the day of Your might; in the majesties of holiness; from the womb of the dawn,
to You is the dew of Your youth.
(Psalms 110:4) YHVH has sworn and will not repent: You are
a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.
(Hebrews 5:1) For
every high priest being taken from men is appointed on behalf of men in the things respecting Elohim, that he may offer both
gifts and sacrifices for sins;
(Hebrews 5:2) being
able to feel in due measure for those not knowing and being led astray, since he also is circled about with weakness.
(Hebrews 5:3) And
because of this he ought to offer for sins as concerning the people, so also concerning himself.
(Hebrews 5:4) And
no one takes the honor to himself, but he being called by Elohim, even as Aaron was
also.
(Hebrews 5:5) So
also HaMashiyach has not glorified Himself to become a high priest, but He
speaking to Him, "You are My Son; today I have begotten You." Psa. 2:7
(Hebrews 5:6) As
He also says in another place, "You are
a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek," Psa. 110:4
(Hebrews 5:7) who
in the days of His flesh was offering both petitions and entreaties to Him
being able to save Him from death, with strong crying and tears, and being heard from His
godly fear;
(Hebrews 5:8) though
being a Son, He learned obedience from what He suffered
(Hebrews 5:9) and
having been perfected, He came to be the Author of eternal salvation to all
the ones obeying Him,
(Hebrews 5:10) having
been called out by Elohim as a High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek.
(Hebrews 5:11) Concerning
whom we have much discourse, and hard to interpret, or to speak, since you have come to be dull in the hearings.
(Hebrews 5:12) For
indeed because of the time you are due to be teachers, yet you need to have someone to teach you again the rudiments of the beginning of the Words of Elohim,
and you came to be having need of milk, and not of solid food;
(Hebrews 5:13) for
everyone partaking of milk is without experience in the Word of Righteousness, for he is an infant.
(Hebrews 5:14) But
solid food is for those full grown, having exercised the faculties through habit, for distinction of both good and bad.
(Hebrews 7:1) For
this "Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High Elohim," the one
meeting Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, "and blessing him;"
(Hebrews 7:2) to
whom also Abraham "divided a tenth from all" (first being interpreted, king of righteousness; and then also king of Salem,
which is, king of peace, Gen. 14:17-20
(Hebrews 7:3) without
father, without mother, without genealogy, nor beginning of days, nor having end of life, but having been made like
the Son of Elohim, he remains a priest in perpetuity).
(Hebrews 7:4) Now
behold how great this one was, to whom even the patriarch Abraham gave a tenth
of the spoils;
(Hebrews 7:5) and
indeed those of the sons of Levi receiving the priesthood have a command to tithe the people according to Law, (that is, from
their brothers, though coming forth out of Abraham's loins),
(Hebrews 7:6) but
he not counting his genealogy from them has tithed Abraham, and has blessed
the one having the promises.
(Hebrews 7:7) But
without contradiction, the lesser is blessed by the better.
(Hebrews 7:8) And
here dying men indeed receive tithes, but there it having been witnessed that
he lives;
(Hebrews 7:9) and
as a word to say, through Abraham Levi also, the one receiving tithes, has
been tithed.
(Hebrews 7:10) For
he was yet in his father's loins when Melchizedek met him.
(Hebrews 7:11) Truly,
then, if perfection was through the Levitical priestly office (for the people had been given Law under it), why yet was there need for another priest to
arise according to the order of Melchizedek and not to be called according to the order of Aaron?
(Hebrews 7:12) For
the priestly office having been changed, of necessity a change of law also occurs.
(Hebrews 7:13) For
the One of whom these things are said has partaken of another tribe, from which
no one has given devotion at the altar.
(Hebrews 7:14) For
it is clear that our Adonai has risen out of Judah, as to which tribe Moses
spoke nothing concerning priesthood.
(Hebrews 7:15) And it is still more abundantly clear that if another priest arises according to the likeness of
Melchizedek,
(Hebrews 7:16) who
has not become so according to a law of a fleshly command, but according to
the power of an indissoluble life.
(Hebrews 7:17) For
it is testified, "You are a priest to the age according to the order of Melchizedek." Psa. 110:4
(Hebrews 7:18) For,
indeed, an annulment of the preceding command comes about because of its weakness
and unprofitableness.
(Hebrews 7:19) For
the Law perfected nothing, but a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to Elohim.
(Hebrews 7:20) And
by how much it was not without oath-taking;
(Hebrews 7:21) for
they truly becoming priests are without oath-taking, but He with oath-taking, through the One
saying to Him, YHVH swore, and will not care to change, "You are a priest
to the age according to the order of Melchizedek;" Psalm 110:4
(Hebrews 7:22) by
so much Yeshua has become Surety of a better covenant.
(Hebrews 7:23) And
they truly are many priests, being prevented from continuing because of death;
(Hebrews 7:24) but
He has the priesthood not to be passed on, because of His remaining to the age.
(Hebrews 7:25) And
from this He is able to save to the end completely the ones drawing near to Elohim through Him, forever living to intercede on their behalf.
(Hebrews 7:26) For
such a High Priest was fitting for us: holy, harmless, undefiled, and separated from sinners, and having become higher than
the heavens;
(Hebrews 7:27) who
has no need, as do the high priests, to offer sacrifices day by day, first for His own sins, then for those of the people.
For He did this once for all, offering up Himself.
(Hebrews 7:28) For
the Law makes men high priests who have infirmity, but the word of the oath-taking after the Law appoints the Son to the age, having been perfected.
(Psalms 110:5) Adonai at Your right hand shatters kings in the day of His
anger.
(Psalms 110:6) He shall judge among the
nations; He shall fill with dead bodies; He shall shatter heads over much land.
(Psalms 110:7) He shall drink out of the
torrent on the way; therefore, He shall lift up the head.
Yeshua
quotes from Psalm 110 in Mark 12. As you read this passage in Mark, realize that
Yeshua walked in Torah, and so should we!!! When I say walk in Torah, I mean
keeping the 10 Commandments (THIS INCLUDES THE FOURTH!!!), observing the Feasts of YHVH, and all that pertains to us in regards
to the 613 mitzvahs or commands. For instance, if I were to use animals to plow
my field, I should not use an ox and a donkey because we are commanded not to in Deuteronomy 22:10. I am sure there is a good reason for not doing this, such as the animals are unequally yoked, and harm
or injury would happen to the weaker of the two? Well, I do not have a field,
nor do I have an ox or donkey either. So you see, this commandment does not apply
to me. Be sure though, that if I were to plow a field with animals, then this
command would apply, and I should gladly do it. The 10 Commandments are not the
10 suggestions, and these definitely are to be kept for ever. Oh, by the way,
the keeping of Torah can not save you!!! Remember Abram was righteous by his faith in Elohim, before circumcision, and way before the Law from Moses!!! I tell you the truth, Abraham believed in HaMashiyach, and I can prove from Torah
that he saw Him!!!
(Genesis 15:6) And
he believed in YHVH. And He counted it to him for righteousness.
We are
only made right with Elohim by Grace through Faith in Yeshua HaMashiyach, ALONE!!! Does
this mean that we trash Torah and knowingly break His Commandments, Elohim forbid; we learn to walk in them, as His disciples
did. As a matter of fact, YHVH promises to put Torah in us, and write it on our
hearts!!! Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) does this!!! Do not get me wrong, we are to grow in the Grace and Knowledge of Yeshua HaMashiyach. This does not happen overnight, it takes a life time of following Him.
By the way, I am new to Torah, and I love it. Shabbat is wonderful, and
was made for man!!! Why should we keep His Torah, if it can not save us; very
simply, to show our love for Him and others.
(Mark 12:28) And coming up, one of the
scribes, hearing them arguing, knowing that He answered them well, he questioned Him, What is the first commandment of all?
(Mark 12:29) And Yeshua answered him,
The first of all the commandments is: "Hear, Israel, YHVH Elohim YHVH echad (plural oneness: husband and wife, day and
night, one cluster of grapes, ect…),
(Mark 12:30) and you shall love YHVH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul" and with all your mind, "and with all your strength."
This is the first commandment. Deut. 6:4, 5
(Mark 12:31) And the second is like this, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." There is not another commandment greater than these. Lev. 19:18
(Mark 12:32) And the scribe said to Him,
You say well, Teacher. You have spoken according to truth, "that Elohim is one," Deut.
6:4, 5 and "there is no other besides Him;" Deut. 4:35
(Mark 12:33) "and to love Him from all
the heart", and from all the understanding, "and from all the soul, and from all the strength;" Deut. 6:4, 5 and "to love one's neighbor as oneself" Lev. 19:18
is more than all the burnt offerings and the sacrifices.
(Mark 12:34) And seeing that he answered intelligently, Yeshua said to him,
You are not far from the kingdom of Elohim. And no one dared to question Him any more.
(Mark 12:35) And teaching in the temple,
answering, Yeshua said, How do the scribes say that HaMashiyach is the son of David?
(Mark 12:36) For David himself said
by Ruach HaKodesh, "The YHVH said to my Adon, Sit off My right until I place Your enemies as a footstool for Your feet."
LXX-Psa. 109:1; MT-Psa. 110:1
(Mark 12:37) Then David himself calls
Him Adonai. And from where is He his
son? And the large crowd heard Him gladly.
