Welcome to my Fine Arts In Education page on the Web entitled, ChildArtist! I'm glad you stopped by. Child
Artist is a program designed to enrich the lives of participants through quality Fine Art workshops and presentations. The
participants of this program will benefit by engaging in visual and performing art activities that stimulate brain development
and raise academic skill levels.
Specifically, the activities will strenghten creative reasoning abilities by addressing issues of perception
, art history, creative expression and values. The ultimate goal of the program is to nurture and enrich the lives of people
by raising awareness of Fine Arts, recognizing Fine Arts as a part of culture and integrating Fine Art activities into cultural
routines. The mission is to raise academic skill levels, build self-confidence, and boost self-esteem in youth and adults,
which in turn builds character. The intent of the program is to use the Fine Arts as an alternate method of establishing creative
reasoning skills to solve problems.
The components of the program include Music, Movement and Visual Art experience workshops for children of
all ages. Tapestry, Mosaic and Instrument making, Rhythm experience and vocal expression.
