California Bicycle Racing promotes grassroots bicycle racing within Southern California. Currently, our national organization is FIAC, the Federation of Independent Associations of Cycling. By purchasing a CBR license or possessing a FIAC-issued license, racers are not required to pay the additional one-day license fees, which vary from $2-$5.

CBR's mission is to promote grassroots cycling in Southern California, to eliminate mind-numbing, bureaucratic paperwork by offering a better service to cycling promoters, and to give back to the racers who support CBR.

How are we going to accomplish this? By giving the racers and promoters a voice in their cycling community by listening to their concerns and acting upon them. It won't be perfect, but it will be ours.

CBR is here for the love of the sport. Your license fees are not used to pay useless cycling CEOs hundreds of thousands of dollars. If we ever grow large enough to need a Regional Coordinator, we'll make sure that there will be a HUGE bicycle race on the West Coast...hopefully just as large as the East Coast CoreStates and USPRO!
