Goals for the Nannie Seddon Barney Chapter

In 2008 we plan to contribute to the President General's Projects and the Division Project as well as work on beautification and restoration projects locally.

We also plan to make cards for Veterans and active military overseas and to continue to visit Veterans in our local nursing homes.

We will also attempt to SAVE IDLEWILD by collecting donations and selling bricks for a memorial gardent to have historic Idlewild in Fredericksburg restored. The home was used by General Robert E. Lee as his headquarters on the last night of the Battle of Chancellorsville.  We would like to see the building refurbished and reused as a museum and or meeting house for Southern Heritage groups and to host events to help raise money for other Southern Causes.
