Jimmy Hall of Wet Willie

Following Wet Willie, Hall started a solo career with Epic Records. His first hit was, “I’m Happy That Love Has Found You.” He received a Grammy Award nomination for best male rock vocalist for his work on Jeff Beck’s 1985 Flash album. Hall’s solo album, Rendezvous with the Blues, was released 1996. During the 90s through the present Jimmy has worked with Greg Allman and Hank Williams Jr. as a band leader, vocalist, saxophonist and harmonica player. Jimmy is also featured on the 2003 Telarc Records release, Triple Trouble, on which he is joined by guitarists Tommy Castro and Lloyd Jones and is backed by legendary blues guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughn’s band Double Trouble. Jimmy toured as lead vocalist for Jeff Beck in London for a special series of concerts highlighting Jeff’s musical career. Again in July of 2005, Jimmy was asked to be Jeff’s featured vocalist for a tour of Japan. All ten shows were sold out and the tour was a huge success.
Still touring with Hank Williams, Jr., Jimmy also is available for select dates as he performs the best of classic R&B and Rock backed by a solid 5 piece band. The Jimmy Hall Band brings to life one great song after another weaving a musical thread of R&B and Southern Rock that appeals to all audiences.
