New amp!

bolt-legacy.jpg

Above you see my newest Carvin amplifier, the Steve Vai Legacy VL412. It was bought for me by my loving wife of 20 years, who obviously has no problem with her old man bringing all this Carvin gear into her house. On 25 March 2006 I will debut this fantastic new amplifier onstage with Steele Breeze  and am definitely looking forward to getting loud and proud with this badboy anywhere I can!

For more information on the Carvin Legacy amplifier (and how you too can get one!), please go to http://www.Carvin.com and look under the guitar amps section, specifically the Steve Vai Legacy Series.

These Carvin guitars are from the Carvin Custom Shop, and are all strung with GHS Boomer or DR Tite-Fit strings in gauges .010-.046, and are set up with ridiculously low action. Power tubes are E34L's, and have given an already incredibly good amp a 3-dimensional warmth and depth that must be heard to be appreciated. The X100B is one of the loudest amp heads I've ever owned and played in my life. I am absolutely filled with inspiration and sheer joy everytime I plug in and power up any of this Carvin gear! Want "Loud"? I got "Loud!"
