*1999 Carvin DC127 Blueburst, bought from Carvin BBS member Guitar Ranger.
*2003 Carvin DC127 Sapphire Blue, bought from Carvin BBS member CoolJay.
*1994 Carvin DC127C Pearl Blue, bought used from a Boston music store and promptly restored to excellent playing
condition.
*1989 V220T Pearl Blue, bought from the hands of a few Carvin BBS members and ultimately rebuilt including the frets;
new Kahler parts w/Deluxe Stringlock, C22B and C22N pickups, all electronic parts, pots, and switches.
*2004 Carvin TXB Bolt, Birdseye Maple fretboard, featuring jumbo frets and an M22SD in the bridge position--bought
from BBS member Nightrain and given most lovingly to my son Nicholas.
*1989 DC145C in Pearl Pink. Besides the hot color, it features an original Floyd Rose trem system and instead of the
standard reverse inline headstock (for that year/model), this one features the straight 'stock. (See photo below.)
These Carvin guitars are from the Carvin Custom Shop, and are all strung with GHS Boomer or DR Tite-Fit strings in gauges
.010-.046, and are set up with ridiculously low action. Power tubes are E34L's, and have given an already incredibly good
amp a 3-dimensional warmth and depth that must be heard to be appreciated. The X100B is one of the loudest amp
heads I've ever owned and played in my life. I am absolutely filled with inspiration and sheer joy everytime I plug in
and power up any of this Carvin gear! Want "Loud"? I got "Loud!"
