BundyWorld Mission Statement
|
|

Currently, I am in the process of amassing more and more Carvin gear, and soon I
will begin work on the long-overdue Bundy solo CD. The only thing that matters anymore in my musical career as of late is
where my next Carvin guitar/amp is coming from and what it will be.
The musical influences on my playing are too vast to be pigeonholed into one genre. My earliest
influences 30 years ago were Johnny Cash, CCR, KISS, and Led Zeppelin--and now I dig the hell out of Rob/White Zombie and
virtuoso guitar players like Vai, Satch, and Malmsteen. As I grow older I find that although stale, boring, and rehashed cover
tunes may provide brief periods of exhilaration brought about mainly by the stage itself, I don't focus all my energies on
cover song bullshit trying to be something I'm not. I don't play guitar like anybody else, so why in the hell should I play
the same songs everyone else does? I'd rather be playing original music than anything else. I have this electrifying addiction
to obnoxious volume that I'm currently undergoing rehab treatments for...and the heavier and louder the better!

BundyWorld is about my lifelong association with music and especially my 30-year dedication to my main instrument,
the electric guitar. I play mostly Rock, but that covers a very wide spectrum---from the '50's to the present, including many
genres of Metal. I also dabble and/or enjoy listening to Blues and Country, and also appreciate Jazz, Bluegrass,
and Classical. I honestly believe I would not be as musically inspired if it were not for the Carvin guitars and amps that
I own/have owned!
