Nicholas was just 6 years old the first time he stepped onstage with his Dad, during a Steele Breeze
show at a Hooter's Restaurant, of all places! The crowd loved him and I'm sure Nick had a great time as well, signing autographs
and all. Nicholas is playing a Fender Squier mini-Strat until he gets a little older and is ready for his first Carvin
guitar (see below). Recently I've put Carvin pickups (and Sperzel tuners as well) on his guitar so now he's really enjoying
some awesome tone!

Almost two years after Nicholas' stage debut, the boy has shown quite an interest in the guitar and sharing the stage
with dear ol' Dad. I figured if the boy was going to learn, he might as well learn on the best.
So I bought him a Carvin Bolt with a TXB finish. The TXB finish is an extremely durable finish that is suitable for Carvin
kids of all ages--kind of like having body armor on the guitar. Nick now has a better guitar than I had at his age (8 years
old)! Rock on, son. Daddy loves you.
