Another REAL BENEFIT is that should you store it with us on an annual basis, and you are a Virginia resident, you will pay Mecklenburg County personal property tax on your boat or camper, which is one of the LOWEST IN THE STATE!
BUGGS ISLAND BOAT COMPANY has 3 acres of fenced property for secure storage of your boat and/or camper. There is a government type fence that completely surrounds the property with 2 Mercury vapor lamps that light the area from dusk to dawn. The area is locked at night.
There are four types of storage available for boats and campers:
YARD STORAGE COVERED STORAGE with
roof only ENCLOSED STORAGE (enclosed
on three sides) EXPANDED COVERED STORAGE
30' deep & 12' high
We are open from April 1 to November 20, six days each week (closed Tuesdays)
and our hours are 9:00AM to 5:00PM every day. We are closed from November 21 to
March 1, for the winter. Provisions are made for
getting to your storage unit when we are closed and late arrivals.
